The Shaka Story
The Shaka sign is a Hawaiian surf gesture that is meant to convey a conception of friendship, understanding, compassion, and solidarity. Within each of these pieces are a little bit of Shaka -- to always remind you to keep it loose. Originally created in my summer home town on Cape Cod, each piece is handmade by me and made to add a little bit of fun and sun into everyone's jewelry collection.

Collaborations
Shaka Bracelets was lucky enough to be a part of a 6-week program with the Kids Helping Kids Organization with the goal of inspiring young girls to either get into jewelry making or create a business of their own someday!

Week #1 Bracelet
This week the girls made a simple "LOVE" bracelet to ease them into the jewelry-making process.
Week #2 Bracelet
This week, we increased the level of complexity by adding 3 different blue beads to the mix. But, this clearly wasn't enough of a challenge...the girls finished within minutes!

The girls experimented working with charms in this week's star bracelet.
